Grace E. Hussey is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri. Grace has been practicing family law since the day she passed the Kansas Bar Exam, and is motivated by a desire to provide guidance to people through what is often the most stressful and confusing time in their lives. In addition to divorce, custody and paternity cases, Grace also practices in the specific area of Adoptions and Surrogacy/Reproductive Law. Grace’s goal is to always provide her clients with the type of representation that makes them feel heard, understood and respected from start to finish. It is Grace’s goal to ensure that your case outcome is the best possible outcome for you, both short term and long term, because she is aware that your life goes on beyond your representation.
Grace received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Legal Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas in 2020 where she received a certificate in Client Advocacy in part for her work with the KU Legal Aid Clinic. After graduating in the midst of the pandemic, Grace practiced for two years in Gardner Kansas where she became familiar with practicing in the many counties of the metro area, including Johnson, Miami, Franklin, Leavenworth, Wyandotte and Douglas. Grace began working with Scott and Victoria in 2022 and became a named partner of the firm in 2025. Grace is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and Johnson County Family Law Inn of Court. Grace has also been named a rising star by Super Lawyers.
In her free time, Grace enjoys working on her home improvement DIY projects, playing guitar, singing in the Kansas Symphony Chorus, and snuggling on the couch with her dogs playing video games.
